As indicated by monitored reports, the demise of the 33 year old Musician came about as a result of a
street crash which happened overnight revealing DJ Arafat riding on a motorbike which crushed into a vehicle. He was then rushed to the Abidjan Hospital where he later passed on.
The Vocalist and Drummer who began as a DJ was born in 1986 into a music family. His father was a famous sound engineer and his mum was likewise a mainstream vocalist.

The Ivorian Best Artiste of the Year 2016 and 2017 at the "Coupe decale" Awards, DJ Arafat, had his music very much spread past the fringes of Ivory coast. His danceable music which fuses a quick beat, groovy rhythms and a pop styled vocals had impacted
